BIOGRAPHY: The duo of Cosmic Gate began their journey into hard trance music with the introduction of "The Drums" in May of 1999. The success of this track spawned even greater success for such future releases as "Mental Atmosphere", "Fire Wire", and "Exploration Of Space / Melt To The Ocean". Two hard trance albums, released in 2001 and 2002 respectively, solidified their stance in the German dance scene. During the past few years, however, Cosmic Gate has stepped away from the rough and in-your-face style fans had become accustomed to, in favour of a slightly techier sound but still retaining the trademark Cosmic Gate touch. They have gone on to achieve further success with such trance releases as "Should've Known", "Analog Feel", and "Body Of Conflict", ensuring that their change in musical direction will not also secure their demise. |
